Seashell cottages and events is a hidden gem!! Our wedding reception was perfect. People were able to stay on or around the property which is so fun! Karen and crew were so very accommodating down to the golf cart escorts after to let the party continue at the pier. We could not have picked a better location for a perfect day. Highly recommend!!!

My partner and I were fortunate enough to stumble upon the Seashell Cottages when searching for a wedding venue. Their coordinator Megan was the best, helped us through the entire process and ran an immaculate show on the big day. We couldn’t have done it without her!
The owners Karen and Janet were super sweet, professional, and accommodating. Well kept grounds, and beautiful spaces. We couldn’t ask for more 🙂

We recently had our wedding at Seashell Cottages in Old Orchard Beach, Maine in September and we couldn’t have been more impressed. The venue was beautifully maintained, and the setup of the tent and chairs created a perfect atmosphere for the celebration.

One of the standout features was the flexibility they offered, allowing food trucks and a mobile bar, which added a fun and unique touch to the event. The wedding coordinator provided by the venue was fantastic, ensuring everything ran smoothly, which took a lot of stress off of us.

The venue also offered clean and convenient amenities, including well-kept bathrooms and lodging options, making it easy for guests to relax and enjoy the festivities.

Overall, I would highly recommend Seashell Cottages for anyone looking for a charming, well-organized, and unique wedding venue.

Love this venue! My best friend got married here and everything was perfect. The location is beautiful and so close to the beach. The owners went above and beyond for my friend throughout her wedding planning process and on the day of her wedding too. The cottages were clean and cute. Highly recommend!

The owners are the sweetest women you’ll ever met. I attended a wedding at this venue and it was perfect! They go above and beyond for the wedding party and guest! Super clean, great location, and the cottages are a bonus being cozy and comfy!

I will be visiting old orchard in July and have been struggling on getting some information , I called the sea shell establishment and was speaking to Karen who gave me all the information I needed even though I had not booked with them she still went out of her way to help and answer all my question so thank you Karen I will definitely be looking into using the sea shell establishment for my future visits to old orchard , Iam looking forward on been able to meet Karen in person in the near future .

I had my daughter’s bridal shower here 8/18/2024. Karen was responsive and helpful the whole time! This is a lovely venue near the beach, beautiful lawn, open area for the event and nicely maintained property. Comfortable areas with shade for the older folks to sit, she allowed us to borrow her tents and decor at no extra charge. We really had a nice time here and would most definitely recommend!

I have attended a few events at Seashell Cottages. The owners and hosts, Karen and Janet are helpful, fun and go the extra mile making sure everyone is happy and having a good time. The cottages are clean, comfortable and cozy and the pool is huge. It is just a short 5 minute walk to a beautiful beach, restaurants and shops. You can enjoy romantic walks on the beach while gazing at gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. There is plenty of night life too, on the pier, or on the strip. I recommend Seashell Cottages. You will not be disappointed.

I attend a wedding at this venue and I fell in love with it. The grounds were immaculate and I have never been to a wedding where there is lodging on the grounds. The cottages were quaint and had such a great vibe to them. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone and I can only hope that one day I’ll have the opportunity to plan a wedding at Seashell Cottages. The fact that you can get married on the beach, walk to the reception area, stay a few days to enjoy the nightlife that Old Orchard Beach has to offer, it didn’t just feel like I was attending a wedding it felt like I was on vacation.

I have attended several events at Seashell Cottages and would recommend this inviting space for people that love fun! At the wedding event I attended the town trolly shuttled guests down to the beach for the ceremony! It made it so unique! The owners are approachable and their clients vision of their stay/event at Seashell is important to them. Staying on site made it so seamless , no worries of driving, could change to comfy clothes, or just take a break from the action. This is a venue for ALL ages! The onsite pool, beach, restaurants, amusements, and shopping are all nearby to enjoy at your leisure.

Perfect venue for any event! Owners are reasonable, laid back and understand the importance of an event going well!
