In the summer of 2019, Janet and Karen discovered a timeless retreat in Old Orchard Beach—a charming collection of cottages where vintage nostalgia meets modern elegance. Seashell Cottages, with its pastel hues and coastal allure, had long been a beloved haven for summer escapes, offering a blend of classic charm and contemporary comfort. Captivated by its inviting atmosphere, they purchased the property, determined to preserve its welcoming spirit while transforming it into a destination for unforgettable gatherings.
In 2021, they hosted their own wedding reception on the lawn of Seashell Cottages, surrounded by ocean breezes and warm light. The experience was unforgettable—a celebration that reinforced their belief in the power of a thoughtfully designed space. Inspired by that moment, they dedicated themselves to sharing Seashell with others, creating a venue where people can come together, celebrate, and make lasting memories. Today, Seashell Cottages continues to welcome dreamers, lovers, and celebrants, providing a picturesque backdrop for cherished events in a space that feels both classic and refreshingly new.
